Hallelujah, Christ Arose!

45 Then opened he their understanding, that they might understand the scriptures,

46 And said unto them, Thus it is written, and thus it behooved Christ to suffer, and to rise from the dead the third day:

47 And that repentance and remission of sins should be preached in his name among all nations, beginning at Jerusalem.

48 And ye are witnesses of these things. -- Luke 24: 45-48

In the end of the sabbath, as it began to dawn toward the first day of the week, came Mary Magdalene and the other Mary to see the sepulchre.

2 And, behold, there was a great earthquake: for the angel of the Lord descended from heaven, and came and rolled back the stone from the door, and sat upon it.

3 His countenance was like lightning, and his raiment white as snow:

4 And for fear of him the keepers did shake, and became as dead men.

5 And the angel answered and said unto the women, Fear not ye: for I know that ye seek Jesus, which was crucified.

6 He is not here: for he is risen, as he said. Come, see the place where the Lord lay.

7 And go quickly, and tell his disciples that he is risen from the dead; and, behold, he goeth before you into Galilee; there shall ye see him: lo, I have told you. -- Matthew 28:1-7

3 Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, which according to his abundant mercy hath begotten us again unto a lively hope by the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead,

4 To an inheritance incorruptible, and undefiled, and that fadeth not away, reserved in heaven for you,

5 Who are kept by the power of God through faith unto salvation ready to be revealed in the last time. -- 1 Peter 1:3-5

Lawrence Auster, R.I.P. (1949 - 2013)

It is with great sorrow that I must announce the passing of Lawrence Auster, of View from the Right. I consider his tireless defense of Christian, traditional America as nothing less than heroic. Few have made greater inroads into explaining the failures and successes of the United States of America, past and present. Words cannot describe how much we needed his voice. Words cannot describe how much he will be missed.

I am thankful that his sufferings are ended. I am also grateful to report that I made amends with him, after a nasty butting of heads a few years ago; no bad blood remained between us.

Most of all, I am thrilled that he embraced Jesus Christ as his Savior. We know where he is, tonight, and it is a better place, by far, than this one.

I thought that he had more time, and I believe that he thought so, as well. I intended to write to him and let him know just how much his efforts defending our civilization from the destroyers within and without meant to me, but I ran out of time and never fulfilled that intention. He was in worse shape than I realized, though I knew his condition was dire. If there's one thing that I've learned from my failure, it is that one should not procrastinate over what needs to be said, regarding someone who is terminally ill. Say what you have to say, today. Right now. Don't put it off until tomorrow, for there may not be a tomorrow on this Earth for that person. The Lord does not promise us another day on this globe anyway, even for the healthy and robust. How much more tenuous is that foothold for someone with a terrible illness?

I know that I will never forget Lawrence Auster -- for though we never met in person, I considered him a friend.

Rest in peace, Larry, and may you delight in the presence of our God and King, Jesus Christ.

War on the Middle Class

An excellent post at Daniel Greenfield's blog. Here's the gist of the article:

Amnesty is a declaration of war by big government and big business against the American middle class. It is a statement that they have no room for the middle class in their vision of the country.

Truer words never were spoken. I highly recommend the whole article.

What Do You Think about this Scenario?

With few exceptions, the ruling elites of countries governed and peopled by blacks believe that racial and cultural diversity are great strengths, if not their greatest strengths. By "ruling elites," I mean those in government, academia, and the entertainment and mainstream news media. Governments of black countries have opened their borders to massive numbers of legal and illegal aliens who do not share their race, religion, language, culture, heritage, or values. In many cases, elites have enacted such policies not by replacing old laws with new, but by flouting the rule of law altogether. Those in power who threw the borders wide and sat on their hands as a deluge of migrants poured into their territories now call for illegal alien amnesties and taxpayer-funded privileges for illegals -- perquisites for which natives do not qualify.

Blacks become dispossessed in the societies that they built -- displaced from employment opportunities, higher pay rates, timely medical care, and the same volume level of voice in the political process. Their "representatives" pay less heed to black citizens' concerns, even as they pander to those of newly-arrived migrants.

Foreign languages become more common on signs in shop windows and in open conversations, in what once were monolingual black states.

Crime increases, especially in areas heavy with immigrants and migrants.

Around the world, polities once inhabited by overwhelming black majorities now see blacks sinking to sixty-five percent of the population, or less, with substantial white, Hispanic, and Asian minorities.

The establishment in black countries characterizes racial solidarity within minority groups as indicative of unity or strength. The establishment further describes such unity and strength as positive developments, as racial and/or cultural "vibrancy." Establishmentarians denounce as racists all blacks who either decry the demographic transformation of their lands, or call for black solidarity. In other words, race-centric thinking among whites, Hispanics, and Asians is beautiful; race-centric thinking among blacks is racism.

In addition, racial sensitivity is so high in the aforementioned commonwealths that the successful labeling of one as "racist" can mean loss of livelihood, a destroyed reputation, and possibly even prosecution. It is no trivial accusation.

In conclusion: blacks become an ever-shrinking demographic group in the civilization that they built, even as non-blacks become ever-growing demographic groups in the lands in which they are invited  -- or uninvited -- guests.

*****

Here is a thought exercise; keeping the above scenario in mind, please mull over a few questions:

1. Would it be fair to say that the powers-that-be are hypocrites, in that they hold blacks to a standard to which they hold no one else?

2. Given inconsistent standards on racial solidarity, would it be fair to say that blacks not only will become a minority group in their own states, but will become a despised, persecuted, scapegoated minority?

3. Is it wrong for a black-majority country to want to remain majority-black? If "yes," why is it wrong?

4. Would it be fair to characterize the ruling elites as traitors or seditionists?

5. Would it be fair to characterize the establishment as anti-black in its policies?

6. Would it be fair to say that the political aristocracy is committing demographic genocide?

I asked the above questions not as a lark, but because the scenario I fleshed out is real, not fiction, and is a deadly serious, life-altering problem. In this case, the sole difference between reality and fantasy is that demographic displacement executed by the ruling elite is not occurring in black countries, but in white countries throughout western civilization. Replace "blacks" with "whites," and "whites" with "blacks" in the thought experiment, and you have an accurate depiction of real-world events. I used blacks as the victims of demographic destruction because I wanted to get people to think outside the proverbial box.

I would add that, outside western civilization, most of the rest of the world rejects the concepts of multiculturalism and diversity as the sheerest nonsense.

I welcome comments/thoughts.

Merry Christmas, Everyone

I would have posted this earlier in the day, but I've been so busy, I haven't found the time until tonight. It seems that Christmas always passes by so fast that I can't appreciate it and take it all in as I would wish to do so. Nevertheless, I hope that all of my readers -- whether they comment regularly or not -- had a blessed and happy Christmas, filled with the joy of family fellowship, and the gift of God's own Son. May God grace you with His presence in your daily lives.

Take care, and remember that wise men still seek Him.

The Last Word

The following caption was found written on a gravestone:

"As I am now, you soon shall be,
So be content to follow me."

Then someone taped the following note on that gravestone:

"To follow you I'm not content,
Until I know which way you went!"

The Test of a Prophet . . .

. . . is that his prophecies come true. That said, my prediction that Romney would win the presidency was a total bust, arising from a mixture of wishful thinking and paying far too much attention to the debates, polls, and the enthusiasm with which people greeted Romney in his stops around the country. When I speak of "wishful thinking," I don't mean that I wished for a Romney victory, but that the Kenyan would go down to defeat and obscurity as he so richly deserves. Unfortunately, that was not to be the case.

So now we get four more years of open warfare against traditional America. We have to endure a smug, lying, anti-white leftist who despises everyone who loves the country founded by people like Washington, Jefferson, and Adams. We must tolerate another term held by a man of infinite self-regard, and zero accomplishment  -- unless one considers taking a wrecking ball to the U.S.A. a triumph.

Westradamus Divines the Entrails Again

A long time ago, in a galaxy far, far away,
A Mulatto Messiah did arise.
"Four more years," we heard the ages chant,
As the great Romnoid slouched toward Gomorrah to be born.

Or something like that. I'm going on record and predicting a Romney win in the 2012 presidential election. I have surveyed the secrets of the stars, read What Is To Come in the swirl of Lipton's** sweet leaves, and sought forbidden knowledge in the clatter of dead men's bones. I even have consulted Oz the Great and Powerful; after rejecting my request for a brain, he bestowed upon me the power of prognostication. You takes what you gets.

Anyway, I anticipate a Romney win of three hundred electoral votes, or more. Most polls skew toward Obama, but they have the reliability of a politician's promise. And the mainstream media are as biased in Obama's favor as most people are their own children over those of Venusian strangers. So ignore the polls and the condescension of the talking heads. Just listen to me, for I have consulted Joseph Smith's crystal ball, and his shade has assured me of Romney's victory.

In a distant age, people will make obeisance to the great god Mittra as he rules over his own planetary system, watching as his people squabble and fight in great social and political upheavals, tut-tutting as false half-messiahs raise up their ugly heads and challenge the established order; and he will sigh and think fondly of a far-off place, a world lost to time and legend, known as Earth; and he will remember that his road to divinity began in the 2012 presidential election in an insignificant and long-forgotten country called the United States of America.

Look on his works, ye mighty, and despair!!!

New Look

Having reverted back to Blogger comments, HaloScan / Echo commenting is gone bye-bye. I've applied a new template; it seems that removing HaloScan required doing so for someone who knows next to nothing about html. If the white lettering on dark gray background is a big eyesore, please let me know. If not, maybe I'll keep this one for a while -- or at least until I tire of it.

Feel free to test the new commenting system. I prefer no anonymous postings, even if that means commenters have to sign their names at the end of their comments. I don't care if people use their real names, or made-up names, just so long as they pick a moniker and stick with it. I'm not going to make a huge deal out of the matter, however, as my commenters have been good about identifying themselves pretty consistently, in the past.

Not Dead Yet

Just checking in with everyone. I realize it's been a while since I posted. I've been going through a blogging slump, recently. It seems that the number of events that demand comments is overwhelming and paralyzing. If I commented on every ridiculous or momentous event going on in our upside-down world, today, I'd find myself blogging full-time. I'm hoping to get back into a more regular blogging schedule -- at least a couple of times a week -- in the near future. The best way to eat an elephant is one bite at a time.

Echo commenting is going the way of the Dodo on October 1, so I'll be going back to Blogger's commenting system. I've saved all my old comments, but have no idea how to import them into Blogger's commenting. I suppose we'll see what happens.

Everyone take care.

Cries of "Racism!" Are Weapons Used Against White People

I agree with the sentiment expressed in this comment 100%:

"ASIA FOR THE ASIANS, AFRICA FOR THE AFRICANS, WHITE COUNTRIES FOR EVERYBODY!"

Everybody says there is this RACE problem. Everybody says this RACE problem will be solved when the third world pours into EVERY white country and ONLY into white countries.

The Netherlands and Belgium are just as crowded as Japan or Taiwan, but nobody says Japan or Taiwan will solve this RACE problem by bringing in millions of third worlders and quote assimilating unquote with them.

Everybody says the final solution to this RACE problem is for EVERY white country and ONLY white countries to “assimilate,” i.e., intermarry, with all those non-whites.

What if I said there was this RACE problem and this RACE problem would be solved only if hundreds of millions of non-blacks were brought into EVERY black country and ONLY into black countries?

How long would it take anyone to realize I’m not talking about a RACE problem. I am talking about the final solution to the BLACK problem?

And how long would it take any sane black man to notice this and what kind of psycho black man wouldn’t object to this?

But if I tell that obvious truth about the ongoing program of genocide against my race, the white race, Liberals and respectable conservatives agree that I am a naziwhowantstokillsixmillionjews.

They say they are anti-racist. What they are is anti-white.

Anti-racist is a code word for anti-white.

Classy Ladies

Once upon a time a woman spent her youth dreaming of the day a man got on one knee and gave her an engagement ring. Then came a wedding ring — and decades later, if you were lucky, an eternity ring.
Now we have entered the era of another kind of ring — the divorce ring.

Yes, it seems that these days women wear their broken hearts not on their sleeves but on their finger.

Need I point out that people who proudly display their divorced status are in open warfare with the teachings of Jesus Christ? Need I also point out that wearing such rings indicates the opposite of a broken heart?
