Hallelujah, Christ Arose!

45 Then opened he their understanding, that they might understand the scriptures,

46 And said unto them, Thus it is written, and thus it behooved Christ to suffer, and to rise from the dead the third day:

47 And that repentance and remission of sins should be preached in his name among all nations, beginning at Jerusalem.

48 And ye are witnesses of these things. -- Luke 24: 45-48

In the end of the sabbath, as it began to dawn toward the first day of the week, came Mary Magdalene and the other Mary to see the sepulchre.

2 And, behold, there was a great earthquake: for the angel of the Lord descended from heaven, and came and rolled back the stone from the door, and sat upon it.

3 His countenance was like lightning, and his raiment white as snow:

4 And for fear of him the keepers did shake, and became as dead men.

5 And the angel answered and said unto the women, Fear not ye: for I know that ye seek Jesus, which was crucified.

6 He is not here: for he is risen, as he said. Come, see the place where the Lord lay.

7 And go quickly, and tell his disciples that he is risen from the dead; and, behold, he goeth before you into Galilee; there shall ye see him: lo, I have told you. -- Matthew 28:1-7

3 Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, which according to his abundant mercy hath begotten us again unto a lively hope by the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead,

4 To an inheritance incorruptible, and undefiled, and that fadeth not away, reserved in heaven for you,

5 Who are kept by the power of God through faith unto salvation ready to be revealed in the last time. -- 1 Peter 1:3-5

Good post. We need to be reminded that Easter is not about eggs and bunnies, but Christ's victory over death.

I don't leave many responses, however after reading a few of the remarks on this page "Hallelujah, Christ Arose!". I actually do have a couple of questions for you if you do not mind. Is it simply me or do some of the remarks look like they are written by brain dead people? :-P And, if you are posting at additional places, I'd like to follow you.

Would you post a list of every one of all your social networking pages like your Facebook page,
twitter feed, or linkedin profile?

I don't know what you're talking about. Can you be more specific?

Is there anybody in there?
Just nod if you can hear me;
Is there anyone at home."

Ha, Joe, I'm glad you're still checking in, here, from time to time. Loyal readers deserve loyalty in equal measure from the blog author.

Regarding my slackitude, all I can say is "I can't explain, you would not understand. This is not how I am. I have become comfortably numb."

I'll try to post on something in the next day or two. I've been meaning to, for a while now.

Good to know you're still there. I was beginning to think that "THEY" had finally caught up with you. :)

As for post topics, pick a scandal, any scandal; there are certainly plenty from which to choose!
