Violation for Violation's Sake

This news is a few days old, but deserves further comment and contemplation:

Jean Weber of Destin filed a complaint with the Department of Homeland Security after her 95-year-old mother was detained and extensively searched last Saturday while trying to board a plane to fly to Michigan to be with family members during the final stages of her battle with leukemia.

Her mother, who was in a wheelchair, was asked to remove an adult diaper in order to complete a pat-down search.

So Porn-O-Matics and grope sessions aren't enough. Now the TSA finds necessity in molesting terminally ill nonagenerians who barely can walk.

This situation is perverse and demented. It's nothing less than unvarnished abuse. The TSA cares not a whit about securing our airports and keeping U.S. citizens safe. At the behest of He-Who-Must-Not-Be-Documented, such actions exist for one obvious reason:

Showing the serfs their proper place, which is a position of complete subservience to the federal government.

Sometimes it truly is that simple.
