Diversity Is Our Strength

"I'm concerned that this increased speculation could cause a backlash against some of our Muslim soldiers ... Our diversity, not only in our Army, but in our country, is a strength. And as horrific as this tragedy was, if our diversity becomes a casualty, I think that’s worse." -- Chief of Staff of the United States Army George W. Casey, Jr., in the aftermath of a jihadist terrorist attack on Fort Hood, Texas.

So diversity dispoiled is worse than the murders of fourteen innocent people. For me, this comment represents one of the most despicable utterances from human lips in U.S. history. Not only is this man severed from reality, but he is a manifestation of everything that is wrong with multiculturalism. Political correctness is not some silly ideological bent that one may roll his eyes at, shake his head over, and go his merry way. It is a corrosive agent on our society, like throwing acid in a man's face. And its end-result is death--intellectual death, national death, and physical death.

The man is a disgrace, and every moment that he remains in his esteemed position is like urinating on the graves of Nidal Hassan's victims.
