Defeating Islamic Terrorism and Expansionism in America

The following is a possible contender for the most politically incorrect blog post you've ever read. Let me warn everyone right now that if you believe that Islam is a Religion of Peace, support unrestricted immigration, or know in your heart that diversity is an elevated societal ambition, I suggest that you take this opportunity and locate the door. I mean it, because you will find yourself at the comfort level of Muhammad in a hog waller. I've said it. You've read it. Now on with the hate-mongering.

Here is my plan for solving the Islamic problem in the U.S.A. :

1. Acknowledge, as a society, that Islam is not now -- nor has it ever been -- a peaceful religion, from the time of its founding 1,400 years ago, to this day. Admit that Islam is not just a religion, but a political ideology, and that the two stand intertwined, with no chance of unraveling. Accept that Islam poses an existential threat to Western Civilization -- a threat that, left unchecked, promises the destruction of our way of life. Islam's untrammeled menace has three possible outcomes: death, forced conversion, or enslavement under a shadow of Islamic supremacy. Abjurement of multiculturalism is the ideal; but even the retention of multiculturalism in other areas with the recognition of Islam's perils is superior to our current outlook, and a step in the right direction.

2. Close and secure our borders. And I don't mean playing pretend while doing diddlysquat, as per the sterling example of George W. Bush. And I don't mean doing even less than Bush's nothing, as per Obama's illustrious policies. I mean lock down the northern and southern borders, with particular emphasis in the south. Increase security of our coasts, with more boat and air patrols, and tighten the cinch around our ports. This entails America owning and operating her own ports. Not Dubai. And not Al-Killya. This is known as minimal common sense.

3. End Islamic immigration to the United States, whether from Muslim or non-Muslim countries. I don't mean some or half or most. All. Bring it to a halt tomorrow. Forget allowing "moderate" Muslims inside, as a "moderate" Muslim is one who cannot afford a gun or bomb vest, and harbors no particular expertise in the construction of explosive devices. How many examples of "Sudden Jihad Syndrome" do we need, before we realize that a "moderate" Muslim may change his tack when he arises at the call to prayer next Monday morning -- with no discernible, public change in veneer -- and dare to go a-hunting infidels? Remember Nidal Hassan? I will not dignify this lowlife with the title "Major." Many considered him a "moderate," until he opened fire on a U.S. military base, murdering fourteen people, and wounding thirty. Inviting "moderate" Muslims into our lands is like sticking one's hand into a flame, and finding consternation at the reality of a second-degree burn. Since playing with fire means getting scorched, how about cutting a wide swath around the conflagration?

4. End the building of mosques on U.S. soil. Given that a large percentage of mosques erected in the U.S. have financial and moral backing from Wahhabi Arabia, and given that U.S. mosques that preach jihad and promote sharia are as uncommon as sand in a desert, clarity of thought requires that we cease letting our enemies build monuments to themselves in our communities. Anything less is a voluntary act of dhimmitude.

5. Send all non-citizen Muslims home. I couldn't care less about such distinctions as "legal resident," "illegal alien," or "refugee." Send them all back to those dystopic nightmares that they call home, and do it now. Give them a date and time, and offer them the dignity of self-removal. Noncompliance means prompt deportation. Attempted reentry post-deportation means learning about the finer aspects of prison life, first-hand. I'm not kidding.

6. Revoke citizenship from and deport all Muslims with known ties to terrorism, jihad, and/or the non-republican institution of sharia.

7. Dissolve and outlaw all organizations that share the ideals of Islamic supremacy. (Yes, CAIR, this means you).

8. Close all mosques that espouse the aforementioned principles.

9. Provide incentives -- up to and including a possible one-time cash payment -- for naturalized Muslim citizens to return to their nations of origin. Strings come with the embrace of such incentives: voluntary renunciation of citizenship, self-removal or deportation within a specific time frame, and the understanding that attempts at reentry constitute felonies, punishable by prison sentences.

This is my nine-point plan. It is neither racist, nor unreasonable. Islam is not a race, and choosing the survival of our society over its annihilation is not unreasonable. I do not exist as a free-floating wisp of smoke in a pipe dream, nor do I reside within a John Lennon song. I live in the real world, a world filled with cruelties and delights, joys and sorrows, friends and enemies. I live in a world in which the adherents of a particular religion want me dead or ground under their heels. And so do you. Each of us has a choice. We as a civilization have a choice: do we step back from the yawning chasm before us, or do we fling ourselves over the brink, hoping for the best as the dark mysteries below rush up to strike us in the face? A bed of down, or a jagged maw of rocks? Make the leap, and find out for yourself. Only a fool would choose the abyss.

Just as God's existence and majesty is not affected by our belief, or lack thereof, the designs of fundamentalist Islam are not subject to our confirmation. Muslims also live in the real world, and they have a plan for remaking it in their image. We can face this fact, or not. Ignorance is not bliss, and blindness to the enemy lurking behind us on our own doorstep is not tolerance. It is folly.

We approach the nine-year anniversary of the worst terrorist attack on American soil in our history. The last time we saw similar devastation was on December 7, 1941, at Pearl Harbor. Think of me as you will, but remember this: had the proposed policies outlined above been in place on September 10, 2001, September 11 would be just another day on your calendar, not a day honoring the memories of three thousand dead.

Big Brother Says Pick a Bridge and Jump, Part IV

Part I

Part II

Part III

The Bailout Scams:

Bear Sterns. Freddie Mac. Fannie Mae. Goldman Sachs. Morgan Stanley. American International Group (AIG). Citigroup. Bank of America.

Unless you live under a rock, you've heard of these institutions. You've caught wind of the Subprime mortgage disaster.

You've seen or read news reports about the automotive industry crisis, which included the bailouts of General Motors and Crysler.

In each of these cases, corporations engaged in irresponsible business practices received aid from the U.S. federal government -- or more to the point, accepted billions of dollars of taxpayer funds as a juicy reward for failure, negligence, and corruption. Some of these companies perpetrated financial fraud; but did that even slow down Big Brother's largesse with other people's money?

Can pigs fly?

First, we had King Bush with his $700 billion TARP (Total Annihilation of Responsible Policy-making) hokum. Don't forget his willing conspirators in Congress, or his paladin, Juan McAmnesty. With the exception of Bush, no single individual talked up the Screw-over Act of 2008 more than McAmnesty, who led the charge against fiscal common sense with all of the passion and valor of Janos Hunyadi and his Hungarians at Kosovo -- with similar results. McAmnesty lost the 2008 presidential election and went down to defeat against an entity with all the substance of a pail of air.

The empty vessel named Obama trod over his rivals, entered the Oral Office, and continued where Bush left off in his magnificent desolation of the economy. As Emeril Lagasse would say, he "kicked it up a notch."

With messianic mendacity, Obama attempted selling the people a bill of goods on his "stimulus" plans. He told us that we need $787 billion spent on tax relief, socialist insecurity, unemployment, infrastructure, housing, health care, education, energy, automobiles, law enforcement, Martian ebola victims, a shrine to Karl Marx on the National Mall, a 556-foot statue of himself beside the Washington Monument, and the Barack Hussein Obama Presidential Mosque in downtown Nairobi, with a branch location in Honolulu.

George Dubya Bush was a nightmare for our nation's economy, but Barack Hussein Obama has taken all of Bush's excesses and thrown them from Light Speed to Ludicrous Speed. He's treating his cronies to a sumptuous feast with your money, and he's barely broken out the hors d'œuvres. Of course, he, too, has his minions in Congress. It's not as if these presidents have the purse-strings all to themselves.

All of the above leads to the revelation that the citizenry of this country rejected the bailout scams before, during and after their implementations. I believe McAmnesty's pro-bailout zealotry -- more than any other single issue -- led to his demise at the voting precincts in the contest for the presidency.

In a Rasmussen poll from January:

1. 56% of voters believe the banking and financial bailouts were a bad idea. This finding is similar to that of April, 2009.

2. 58% reject the automotive bailouts -- a figure that remains consistent with earlier percentages.

3. But lo and behold the disparity between the outlooks of the political class and mainstream Americans: 73% of the political class think the automotive bailouts are a swell idea; 73% of mainstream Americans think they make terrible policy. The numbers hover in the same area regarding the financial institution bailouts.

So we have elites looking out of the windows of their uptown apartments and estate houses and spitting in the people's faces. They hold views in polar opposition to those of the average U.S. citizen, and they intend ramming their agendas down your throat.

Even if they have to use your own checkbook to do it.

Big Brother Says Pick a Bridge and Jump, Part III

Part I

Part II

Obamacare (Commiecare):

A Democrat-controlled Congress passed the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act into law back in March. This legislation rammed socialized health care down America's throat for the first time in its history. Since government-controlled medicine works so well everywhere else -- what with people flocking to the States for surgeries and other medical procedures -- we know that good times lie ahead.

Here's how Congress voted on the issue:

House of Representatives:

178 Republicans against; 0 in favor.
34 Democrats against; 219 in favor.

Senate:

39 Republicans against; 0 in favor.
0 Democrats and Independents against; 60 in favor.

Maybe the GOP is playing the partisan political game so typical of D.C. elites. Of course, we can't accuse Republicans of this without including the Democrats in that criticism, given their virtual lock-step voting pattern favoring socialism. However, whatever reasons exist for why Republicans and Democrats vote as they do, a stark contrast exists between the two political parties on this particular issue -- at least as far as their voting patterns go. Obamacare is the Democrat party's illegitimate child.

The U.S. citizenry stood against Obamacare before and after it passed. Depending on which polls one consults, somewhere between 52% and 63% of the American people want this pernicious, liberty-crushing legislation repealed.

Obama and the Democrats have responded to such concerns with a "Hie thee to Hell" approach for those who don't like having our system of government dismantled in one of the most blatant power-grabs in U.S. history. They have zero interest in what you or I think about anything -- unless our views correspond to theirs one hundred percent, in which case bully for us.

When the majority of people are against an initiative and have provided sound, well-reasoned arguments for their opposition, politicians cannot force the issue through, while claiming that they represent the interests of their constituency. That's a lie. It's not representative government. It is not government of, by, and for the people. Rather, it's a dictatorial oligarchy.

Chris Matthews Understands

I found this little gem in the "Letters" section at World Net Daily:

I read your article on the president and where he was born. It doesn't matter. He is still one of the best presidents this country has ever had.

Oh, and just in case you are wondering, I am white and was born in North Carolina. He has more supporters that you know.

Teresa

Since Teresa thinks that the Constitution is worth less than Sheryl Crowe's recycled toilet paper, using what metric does she determine that Obama is one of "the best presidents this country has ever had"? Is it that winning smile? That slim physique as he saunters across the beach, shirtless? His crisp elocution? His wife's vacation getaways, the extravagance of which would have rendered Marie Antoinette insensate with envy?

As for the number of his supporters, well, we know that whites supported him in great, mooing, herdlike droves. Since blacks make up about 13% of the population, he couldn't have won the election without lots of addlepated whites -- like Teresa -- scampering off to the voting precinct and putting every ounce of their gullibility behind Baracking the vote.

I'll bet that every time Obama speaks or grins, Teresa feels a little tingle shoot up her leg, and a bolt of lightning thrills her heart.

She's not alone. Just ax Oprah.

Big Brother Says Pick a Bridge and Jump, Part II

Part I

Homosexual "Marriage":

I'm sure by now my readers are somewhat familiar with the recent ruling in California on homosexual "marriage." Federal judge Vaughn Walker struck down Proposition 8, which was a constitutional amendment defining marriage as a union between a man and a woman. Seven million California voters approved this amendment in 2008, or about 52%.

Perhaps you might say, "Big deal. This just affects Californication, the land of illegal aliens, drag queens, leftism as moderate politics, and nutcases of all sorts." OK, I won't argue that point.

But consider this: in the most leftward-leaning state of the union, over half of voters said "No!" to nuptialed fruits. California also is the most populous state, so a decision of this import may have far-reaching ramifications for the rest of the United States.

The unelected Judge Walker, an open homosexual himself, reacted to the public's will by telling Californians to take a long walk off a short pier. Allowing Walker's presiding over this case is like letting a fat guy create menu ideas for Jenny Craig.

The case isn't over, yet, as it will see a long appeals process leading all the way to the Supreme Court. But it illustrates the gaping chasm separating the will of the people, and the will of the lawless elites.

Big Brother Says Pick a Bridge and Jump

We live in a time in which the federal government has nothing but disdain for the will of the American people. I think a handful of specific examples illustrate this problem:

Immigration:

This has proven a serious matter for twenty-five years, but it became acute under George W. Bush. Never before had I seen a president who was so congenial to immigrants in general, and illegal aliens in particular. He proposed de facto mass amnesty, and lied to the public about his intentions by redefining words and concepts. One could pen a whole volume on his deceit and dereliction of duty in this area.

Under Obama, this dire situation has become worse, as implausible as that may seem. The National Immigration and Customs Enforcement Council cast a unanimous vote of "No Confidence" in the director and assistant director of Immigration and Customs Enforcement. The Council acted on behalf of 7,000 ICE officers and employees, on June 25.

Like Bush, Obama seeks amnesty for criminal invaders. ICE, which operates under Obama Administration appointees, deports aliens without further punishment for crimes that land citizens in prison, foregoes the enforcement of laws on the books, mismanages resources without accountability, treats criminals like foreign dignitaries, and retaliates against internal whistleblowers.

Worst of all, the Obama Administration has taken an active role in persecuting the people of Arizona for their efforts toward enacting the federal laws that Obama and his partners in high crimes and misdemeanors refuse to enforce. It's akin to the police arresting a man for thrashing his wife's attempted rapist.

Poll after poll shows that an overwhelming majority of Americans want legal immigration more limited in scope, and illegal "immigration" nipped in the bud.

However, the Republicans and Democrats have chosen a bipartisan response to those concerns, manifest in standing hand-in-hand and giving Americans the proverbial finger.

The immigration issue is perhaps the most clear-cut example of our federal government taking a stand in diametric opposition to the people's will.

Discount

George Bush, Queen Elizabeth, and Vladimir Putin all die and go to hell.

While there, they spy a red phone and ask what the phone is for. The devil tells them it is for calling back to Earth.

Putin asks to call Russia and talks for 5 minutes. When he is finished the devil informs him that the cost is a million dollars, so Putin writes him a check.

Next Queen Elizabeth calls England and talks for 30 minutes. When she is finished the devil informs her that the cost is 6 million dollars, so she writes him a check.

Finally George Bush gets his turn and talks for 4 hours. When he is finished the devil informs him that the cost is $5.00.

When Putin hears this he goes ballistic and asks the devil why Bush got to call the USA so cheaply.

The devil smiles and replies, "Since Obama took over, the country has gone to hell, so it's a local call."

I don't know if Hillaroid Clinton some day will become empress of the tottering giant known as the United States of America; I can't rule out the possibility, given that the public saw fit to enthrone the Mulatto Messiah of Dubious Origin. In the event that this dread day dawns, I see her future rule terminating not unlike this scenario:

Breaking the Laws Americans Won't Break

This article discusses the problem of illegal aliens accessing military bases -- in this case Fort Huachuca, Arizona, which serves as the country's largest military intelligence training center. A cleaning company contracted for work on the base employed illegal aliens. When authorities raided the company's offices, they discovered that

". . . one of the ladies was hiding her Mexican I.D. in an enchilada, trying to conceal the identification . . ."

This is called living the stereotype, folks. My understanding is that fifteen other Mexicans piled into a Pinto and made a run for it, but later were captured applying for in-state tuition discounts at Quesadilla State College, in Phoenix.

In 2007, the Washington Times reported Fort Huachuca changed security measures "after sources warned that possibly 60 Afghan and Iraqi terrorists were to be smuggled into the U.S. through underground tunnels with high-powered weapons to attack the Arizona Army base."

An FBI advisory stated, "A portion of the operatives were in the United States, with the remainder not yet in the United States. The Afghanis and Iraqis shaved their beards so as not to appear to be Middle Easterners."

According to the report, illegal aliens from the Middle East paid Mexican drug lords $20,000 "or the equivalent in weapons" for smuggling them and their weapons through the tunnels.

One source who spoke with DEA intelligence agents said the weapons included two Milan anti-tank missiles, Soviet-made surface-to-air missiles, grenade launchers, long guns and handguns.

The Tucson Weekly reported one rancher just west of Fort Huachuca answered his door in 2004 when a female illegal alien asked to use his phone.

According to the report, the call was to Libya.

As WND recently reported, thousands of illegal aliens apprehended along the 2,000 mile border stretching through California, Arizona, New Mexico and Texas aren't even from Mexico. Many are citizens of countries that are known sponsors of terrorism, including Afghanistan, Algeria, Iraq, Lebanon, Libya, Nigeria, Pakistan, Saudi Arabia, Somalia, Yemen, Sudan, Syria and Iran.

Thinking hurts. Logic particularly is painful. So sit back, exhale, and repeat after me. I'm sure you remember our mantra:

"We gotta fight 'em over thar, so we ain't gotta fight 'em over hee-yar!"

Gosh, I feel better now.

Skipping Stones on Lethe's Waters

A poster calling himself "Uber Dawks" has exchanged emails with Vox Day, in which he champions the idea of dragging "Christards" -- a hallmark epithet of intellectual rigor -- "kicking and screaming from the Dark Ages into the modern secular age, whether you like it or not."

Below are my thoughts posted in the comments section, as well as additional observations:

PZ afraid to debate you? Why should he debate delusional fundies like you? You wanna know why he doesn't have to? Courtier's reply. All you Christards have to contribute is philosophical flatulation about your phony baloney sky daddy.

I never understand questions like this. PZ is one of many militant atheists who proselytizes his faithlessness to the world. His claim to fame is his opposition to religion -- particularly Christianity. He wants people to throw off their religious blinders, flee the shadow thrown by their "phoney baloney sky daddy," and stride into the bright klieg lights of atheism.

Yet it never occurs to PZ or Uber Dawks that crushing a "fundie" with a large audience like Vox in an open, honest debate might accomplish exactly that.

Isn't the goal winning converts to atheism? Especially if all this requires is defeating some ignorant "fundie" who isn't fit to lick Richard Dawkins' boots?

If the answer is "Yes," then Uber Dawks has his answer as to why PZ and others like him should participate in such debates.

You have no objective proof of god's existence at all. I challenge anyone on your site to give me one thing -- one tiny piece of objective evidence for god that cannot be better and more fully explained by natural science.

How does one provide "objective" evidence of God's existence to an atheist? Am I expected to believe that someone who is closed to the possibility of God -- who made this decision, not based on evidence, but arrogance -- who doesn't even comprehend the conventional definitions of "objective" or "evidence" -- who changes the meanings of words to suit his agenda, sometimes multiple times within a single conversation -- will magically change his mind and become a theist?

Now I understand what is meant by "blind faith."

Best of luck. When you die, you pass into nonexistence. That's it. Get over your fairy tales now and do something worthwhile like help save the environment.

Filed under the heading, "Optimism." Eat, drink, and be merry, for tomorrow, we die. Our souls do not travel through the aether and into Heaven, dwelling forever with the Lord. Nope. They plummet downward to the Earth, where they pass into Oblivion. Just like that of the lowly cockroach or nightcrawler. How appealing. How egalitarian.

Of course, Uber Dawks offers no explanation for why I should give a Gaian Gorebasm about the environment. Even if I live to a ripe old age and die of natural causes, chances are that environmental degradation won't progress to the point of affecting me to a significant degree. Unless I'm killed by an angry, naked-pink polar bear for imbalancing Mother Earth's chi.

"But what about posterity?!" Uber Dawks might cry. "It's for the children!"

Hello, my name is Wes, and I'm in Oblivion. Remember? I won't care, because I won't know, and soon you'll share my obliviousness. In a few short decades, posterity will join me in my atomic dispersion. Forty-leven zillion years** from now, so will the Earth.

If we can sum up atheism in one word, that word is "futility." There is no transcendancy of meaning. Meaning is personal, and varies from one individual to another. Thus a concise, accurate description of "meaning" within the atheist framework is one that requires subjectivity and contradiction.

So in honor of atheist logic, let me reveal a new rallying cry for our sophisticated secular age:

"Embrace nihilism, BUT save a whale!"

** I believe this is the proper scientific timeframe, as calculated by the evolutionarily elevated.

"Hey, Pancho, Pass the Grey Poupon."

The Obama administration is looking to change the way illegal aliens are housed in America by giving them a kinder, gentler, "Club Fed" resort-style life of luxury complete with art classes, movie nights, bingo, e-mail, unmonitored phone lines, continental breakfast, hanging plants and fresh carrot sticks.

An internal Immigration and Customs Enforcement e-mail dated May 27 revealed many "low-risk" illegal-alien detainees will also enjoy "free movement," "relaxed security measures," elimination of "lockdowns" and expanded visiting hours, the
Houston Chronicle reported.

And every Friday means opera night -- conducted in Spanish, of course, for Sergio's listening and viewing pleasure. After that, it's boat drinks on the deck of the U.S.S. Aztlan, snorkling in the Caribbean, and caviar and Chardonnay under swaying palms.

Remember, the people instituting these asinine policies are the same ones who assure us that our detention facilities don't have the inmate capacity or enough beds to house all these art connoisseurs.

According to the report, ICE officials said the makeover is part of a larger effort to make immigration detention less penal and more humane.

Heaven forfend that we treat criminals like criminals. Why, the mere thought makes my truffles back up. However, since I now know that "penal" is a synonym for "inhumane," I suppose I'll get over it.

Beth Gibson, ICE senior counselor to Assistant Secretary John Morton and a leader of the detention-center overhaul, told the Chronicle ICE is seeking to detain illegals in the least restrictive manner possible while making certain that they leave the country if ordered to do so.

"When people come to our custody, we're detaining them to effect their removal," she said. "It's about deportation. It's not about punishing people for a crime they committed."

Then why detain or deport them? This liar is pretending that illegal aliens are not committing crimes by effecting illegal entry. Eligibility for deportation means that you are a criminal, by definition. Federal law allows a penalty of up to six months in prison for the first offense, and up to twenty years for the second.

It doesn't get more anti-American than a deliberate policy of treating foreign invaders better than U.S. citizens. But given that we have a president who harbors a rank hatred for all things American -- a hatred that saturates the warp and woof of his every statement or decision -- should this come as a surprise?

Western Films: Summation

To reiterate, this was a list of only films that I have seen, so it cannot be considered a comprehensive listing of the best westerns ever made.

As you've probably detected, I'm a huge fan of John Wayne. However, I think I'm being objective in saying that, if one made a list of the top fifty westerns ever filmed, half would star John Wayne. He was in one great film after another in this genre.

I didn't include pre-1930s westerns, as I have viewed precisely none.

Please feel free in mentioning other westerns not already on the list that you find deserving of merit.

Stinko de Mexico

A new federal civil-rights lawsuit is targeting officials at Live Oak High School in the Morgan Hill Unified District in California for demanding that students not wear pro-USA shirts to class on the Mexican Cinco de Mayo holiday.

The filing accuses Assistant Principal Miguel Rodriguez of telling Dianna Dariano, when asked whether this country is not America, "Not today, we need to give them (Mexicans) their day today."
(emphasis added)

This is the inevitable result of importing massive numbers of people from countries that do not share our language, culture, heritage, or values.

That California schools are celebrating a Mexican holiday that has zero significance in America tells you all you need to know about the nature of mass immigration / invasion in this country. The surreality of the situation is what one would expect after falling down the rabbit hole, or stepping through the looking glass. Mere words cannot impart its absurdity.

The next time someone assures you that millions of third worlders can and will assimilate, remember this tale, and how it and numerous other stories exemplify the opposite.

We are not assimilating them; they are assimilating us, with the blessings of our treasonous elites. Anyone who tells you otherwise is a brazen ignoramus or a despicable liar.

PC Terms: Differently Abled

I treasure this one. Imagine someone explaining this logically. It's like squeezing a blue whale through a keyhole.

"My legs are missing, so I can't walk. I'm Differently Abled, you see. I stump."

"I don't have arms, so I find swimming rather difficult. Being Differently Abled, I sink like an anvil."

"Differently abled" is just a dolled-up way of saying, "I can't do that."

I'm assuming that people who take this term seriously -- and not as an assault on the English language or common sense -- view Helen Keller as their hero.

After all, she was Differently Multi-Abled.

Peace Flotilla Implements of Love

Here are pictures of some of the instruments confiscated from the crew and "peace activists" of the Mavi Marmara. This was a Turkish ship boarded by the Israeli Defense Forces, for the purpose of finding weapons en route to Gaza. The situation occured within the context of an Israeli blockade of Gaza -- A.K.A., Terrorland.

This page presents a summary of relevant events, and this site offers a video of Hamas Peaceniks engaged in a demonstration of pacifism.

I'm a staunch believer in loving someone to death with boarding axes, guns, lengths of metal pipe, slingshots, wooden clubs formed from axe and shovel handles, glass bottles, heavy wrenches and other metal tools, chains, sledgehammers, and knives that look like they were just ripped from a mujahid's sash.

"Let me axe you to give peace a chance!" he screamed, before splitting the man's skull like a ripe melon.

Gives new meaning to the term "Killing me softly."

Diversity Is Our Strength

"I'm concerned that this increased speculation could cause a backlash against some of our Muslim soldiers ... Our diversity, not only in our Army, but in our country, is a strength. And as horrific as this tragedy was, if our diversity becomes a casualty, I think that’s worse." -- Chief of Staff of the United States Army George W. Casey, Jr., in the aftermath of a jihadist terrorist attack on Fort Hood, Texas.

So diversity dispoiled is worse than the murders of fourteen innocent people. For me, this comment represents one of the most despicable utterances from human lips in U.S. history. Not only is this man severed from reality, but he is a manifestation of everything that is wrong with multiculturalism. Political correctness is not some silly ideological bent that one may roll his eyes at, shake his head over, and go his merry way. It is a corrosive agent on our society, like throwing acid in a man's face. And its end-result is death--intellectual death, national death, and physical death.

The man is a disgrace, and every moment that he remains in his esteemed position is like urinating on the graves of Nidal Hassan's victims.

1 John 1: 6-10

6 If we say that we have fellowship with him, and walk in darkness, we lie, and do not the truth:

7 But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin.

8 If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us.

9 If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.

10 If we say that we have not sinned, we make him a liar, and his word is not in us.

Walking in Nawlins

*Sung to the tune of "Walking in Memphis," by Marc Cohn.

Put on my wading shoes and I

Boarded the plane.

Touched down in the land of the welfare check

In the middle of a hurricane.

Brother Al $harpton

Won't you look down over me.

Yeah I got a first-class ticket,

But I'm as white as a boy can be.

Then I'm walking in Nawlins.

Walking with the water up to my neck.

Walking in Nawlins.

I've heard they keep their ears dry in Quebec.

Saw the ghost of James Carville,

Which was weird, cuz he ain't dead.

He was singing praise to a gent named Willie.

He always was a pudding head.

Now the cops arrested Louis Armstrong

While he blew a trump of doom,

And Dorothy Lamour wore a skin-tight sarong

Like she was bound for the jungle room.

So I was swimming in Nawlins.

I was treading water trying to stay afloat.

Backstroking in Nawlins.

Wish the Lord would send a motorboat.

They've got looters in the grocery;

Po-leece sirens in the air.

And Sean Penn preens in a submarine

No, he won't mess up his hair.

But y'all ain't got a prayer in Nawlins.

Now Blanco cusses Duhbya,

Hands out some shuck and jive;

And Nagin sits at home watching Oprah

Sipping Colt Forty-five.

Je$$e Jack$on paddled past me,

And he noticed my skin was white.

He said: "There goes a racist's child,"

So I called Davy Duke on him tonight.

I was drowning in Nawlins.

Why didn't Bush come and rescue me?

Guess he was out busting levees.

He seems so much nicer on T.V.

Put on my water wings and I

Boarded the plane.

Touched down in the land of racist storms

Where I became a weather vane.

I coulda solved it all in a blink or two

If I only had Obama's brain.

Elitist Snot World News: Retro Edition

Here's a fun story I somehow missed from 2008: Bill Clinton is so bitter about Barack Obama's victory over his wife Hillary that he has told friends the Democratic nominee will have to beg for his wholehearted support.

A senior Democrat who worked for Mr Clinton has revealed that he recently told friends Mr Obama could "kiss my ass" in return for his support.

My friends, this is one classy gentlemen. I can't believe we were able to carry on as a nation, after he left office and started his own escort service and streetside courtesan consulting firm.

Remember the idiotic road signs that show a picture of Jorge W. Bushandez that say: "Miss me yet?"

Well, I nominate Bill for a future road sign that says:

"Miss my a - - yet?"

PC Terms: Female Circumcision

I'm limiting my comment to the Islamic practice of performing cliterodectomies on young girls, in the interest of limiting sexual desire.

Calling this "female circumcision" is akin to dubbing partial-birth abortion "parasitic extrication." It's absurd. No proper comparison exists between this barbarism and male circumcision, which God approved for Jewish males in scripture.

This is evil, in that it denies a woman physical pleasure that her Creator intended and saw as good.

It's one of sundry stark and despicable examples of why Muslims who take their religion seriously have no place in Western civilization. We should end Muslim immigration to the west, and deport those who champion jihad and the institution of sharia; if that entails stripping some of their "citizenship," then so be it.

Don't Tell My Tart, My Skanky Raunchy Tart

Miley Cyrus has her very own bump 'n grind video, in which she instructs Hannah Montana fans in the proper method of performing a simulated sex act on the dance floor.

A pair of short - shorts: $15.

Parental absence: worth one full night of debauchery.

Rubbing one's buttocks on the crotch of a homosexual movie producer of the opposite sex: priceless.

Demonstrating uncanny parenting skills and moral outrage at his daughter's behavior, Billy Ray Cyrus announced to the public that, "It's what people her age do."

So if Miley ever wants to sample crack cocaine, we now know of an unassailable argument she can use with her loving father:

"But, Daddy-O, like, other girls my age do it, and, like, they love it!"

At which point Billy Ray's heart will melt; naturally he'll defer to his little striplet, who knows best.

He went on to say that she was "just having fun."

I wonder if Lindsay Lohan's parents made similar remarks, after she chug-a-lugged her first beer? Now she's singing "How Dry I Am" under the bridge uptown with Mr. "Hic" Q. Wino.

It seems Miley Cyrus is following in a long line of once-chaste, now-trollop starlets. Her mentors are Stripley Spears, Christina Stripmebarea, Striponcé, and Jessica Stripson, among other high-paid pole-dancers.

And good ol' Billy Ray? Well, he's less her father, and more her pimp.

B.S. at West Point

Barack Obama gave a commencement speech at the U.S. Military Academy at West Point, on Saturday, where he assured everyone that:

"The international order we seek is one that can resolve the challenges of our times," he said in prepared remarks. "Countering violent extremism and insurgency; stopping the spread of nuclear weapons and securing nuclear materials; combating a changing climate and sustaining global growth; helping countries feed themselves and care for their sick; preventing conflict and healing its wounds."

So he's distancing himself from Bush - era policies by engaging in empty rhetoric. That's quite a departure. Seeking "international order" -- whatever that means -- is not one of the constitutional duties of the President of the United States, Obama's delusional amendings notwithstanding. Notice, too, his context - free mentionings of "violent extremism" and "insurgency." Given that this president views terrorists as citizens, and citizens as terrorists, I draw no comfort from his vows of countering "extremism."

More from the empty suit: "combating a changing climate." Ha! I want to see that. How does one go about doing this? By enlisting the aid of Captain Planet, who poses by day as the mild - mannered Gaia Gore? "Global growth?" What in Sam Hill is he planning? Expansion of the Earth?

In Iraq, he said, the United States is "poised" to end its combat operations this summer, leaving behind "an Iraq that provides no safe haven to terrorists; a democratic Iraq that is sovereign, stable and self-reliant."

Yes, and I have some choice ocean - front property on the Sea of Tranquility that I'll sell you, lunar dirt - cheap. The man's lost in a haze of pipe dreams.

I doubt the Mulatto Messiah believes his own natterings. I expect little more from the Teleprompter - reader - in - chief.

Vacant words formed in a hollow soul.

Rainbow in the Dark

I was saddened by the passing of Ronnie James Dio, who died of stomach cancer on May 16. He was the current frontman of Heaven and Hell and his namesake group, Dio.

I don't know how many of my readers are into rock or hard rock, but Dio was a grand old man of these genres. He started off in the 1950s and 1960s in different doo - wop groups (Ronnie and the Rumblers, Ronnie and the Redcaps, Ronnie and the Prophets, etc), and later became the lead singer of Elf, who produced three foot - stomping, bluesy rock albums in the '70s. Later, he fronted Rainbow with Richie Blackmore, and Black Sabbath. And he made ten albums with the group named for him, as well as participated in a host of disparate side projects.

If you've ever heard him sing, then you know what a powerful set of pipes he possessed, and how his voice remained strong with the passage of years.

To my mind, his songs had moral clarity that few rock songs reveal. He often wrote about the war between good and evil, and portrayed evil as just that, with no sugar - coating or lipstick smeared on outright sin. That's refreshing, in an era of moral relativism.

Anyway, I just wanted to spend a moment remembering him. His music has affected and entertained me over the years, and, unlike with most music stars, I'm actually sorry that he's gone.

I hope he's with the Lord. Who knows? None of us goes to Heaven on personal merit, after all.

Rest in peace.

Beijing or Bust

I received a rather curious observation from Butt Out in the comments section of my post about cigarette butts. Here it is in its entirety:

i have no idea how much littering fines are. I think they are well over several hundred dollars.

In my last 15 years as a smoker, i constantly put the butts where they belonged, especially after we moved into a public park. I didn't want to see ANY trash in the landscape and I realized that the public was allowed here and if they began trashing it, the place would look awful really fast.

Figured I'd set the example, help with the clean ups and all.

so i'm saying its a smoker's responsibilty, as much as it's everybodies, to clean up after themselves. Our momma's don't live here, as the saying goes.

And about the ''alleged'' complaint with the police, that is how America works. Police always work on behalf of the greater good, including the things that they do not witness. If it doesn't suit you, move to China or Iran, where they are far more swifter and certain with their justice.

I take no issue with the first four paragraphs. Yes, smokers should be good stewards of the Earth, and not go flipping refuse willy - nilly all over the place. This applies to everyone; not just members of the carcinogen club.

However, the point was not what smokers do or should do; the subject was how the government abuses its trust, exerting its power in crafting inordinate punishments that have as much or more to do with the acquisition of money and pleasing enviromaniacs and anti - smokers as with the enactment of justice.

The final paragraph from Butt Out seems incoherent. First, it is not true that the police "always work on behalf of the greater good." I have read numerous stories about police brutality and other flagrant misconduct. Such reports are neither rare nor difficult in unearthing on the Internet.

Second, where is the logic in advising someone who denounces excessive punishments to look to China or Iran for satisfaction? One is a Communist / fascist state, and the other is an Islamoid dystopia. Butt Out's position is that I would find life more comfortable in China or Iran, since I decry draconian responses to minor crimes.

This is like saying, "Don't like Jew - bashing? Well, maybe you should pull up stakes and move to the Gaza Strip."

There is nothing just or honorable about incommensurate fines for petty infractions or informing on one's fellow citizens.

Kiss My Butt

My mother told me a story last week about how one of her friends found a letter in her mailbox from the local police department. This friendly missive said that a "concerned citizen" had notified the police -- presumably by writing down her license plate number -- that she had engaged in one of the most unspeakable acts of modern times: littering. This atrocity manifest itself as a dropped cigarette butt. The letter assured her that this was her sole warning; a second offense carries the pricetag of a $1,500 fine. The friendly neighborhood extortionist also said that if a cop sees you litter and pulls you over, there's no warning on offer, just a fat fine.

There's so much that I can say, here; but let's start with the acknowledgment that a $1,500 penalty is a disproportionate response. It's the brand of idiocy I expect from environmental maniacs like Algore, who believe that Mother Earth awaits her vengeance, and the only good humans are those with several feet of earth and turf over them.

And government drones squint their eyes in confusion and wonder why the public believes they care more about cash than justice. Gee, I wonder. I'm sorry, but you don't get the privilege of abusing your position of power for the crass acquisition of greenbacks and also receive respect from the citizenry. That's not how the world works, except perhaps in Obamatopia.

I wish she knew the "concerned" informant / busybody's name and address. If I were her, I'd bide my time and save up a year's worth of cigarette butts. I'd even ask my friends and family for contributions to the carcinoma fund. I'd save bags and bags of the stuff, then take them to the "concerned" stool pigeon's house and cram them up her / his / its car tailpipe, dust its flowerbeds with these little filtered gems, and dump a heaping pile on the "concerned" fink's front porch. Speaking of putting stinky butts in their place.

I think one could make a case that $1,500 for an inch - long cigarette butt is cruel and unusual punishment; it's the same level of cruelty and contempt Hollywood exhibits when elevating Bennifer Afflack to a leading - man role.

I shudder to think of the retribution dreamed up for those who commit further butt droppage. I see it now: a woman led to a wooden pole, a look of mystified horror distorting her features. There, the Smokestaffel lackey offers her a cigarette, but he warns that she'd better make use of the ashtray to her left. "We can't kill you twice for the same crime," he says, "but we darned sure can kneecap you, before the final curtain falls." Ouch. He blindfolds her, and the last things she sees before going down into darkness are the ubiquitous signs pasted on every visible wall that request in bold, black letters:

Please Put Litter In Its Place

Seen while driving through town a couple of days ago:

A man who looked like "Buffalo" Bill Cody in a tank - top and shorts, having difficulty pedaling a three - wheeled bicycle uphill. At the rear of the bike was a metal basket, within which rode two comfortable passengers:

My Brain Is Trapped in the TARDIS

In an article by David B. Hart about the intellectual vacuity of certain vocal Atheists, Hart discusses a current book, 50 Voices of Disbelief: Why We Are Atheists:

The whole project probably reaches its reductio ad absurdum when the science-fiction writer Sean Williams explains that he learned to reject supernaturalism in large part from having grown up watching Doctor Who.

Interesting. I had a diametric opposite reaction to boob tubage philosophy: I embraced the supernatural after becoming a "religious" viewer of Highway to Heaven. Tom Baker is nowhere near as convincing a prophet as Little Joe Cartwright.

Humor in the News

George Washington's in trouble:

Two centuries ago, the nation's first President borrowed two tomes from the New York Society Library on E. 79th St. and never returned them, racking up an inflation-adjusted $300,000 late fee.

Some visitors to a new exhibit at New York City's Museum of Modern Art are being asked to leave because they are touching nude performers.

The performers featured in Marina Abramovic's new exhibition have complained of being pushed, prodded and poked by some patrons.

The museum acknowledges that it has had problems with some visitors touching the live art. It is declining to talk about specific cases, but says visitors caught doing it are escorted out.

Just a quick word of free advice to all the exhibitionists: If you don't like getting groped, don't lie around in public nekkid.

He Is Risen . . .

. . . and He lives forevermore.

I have told you these things, so that in me you may have peace. In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world. -- John 16:33

Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in me. In my Father's house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also. -- John 14:1-3

And the angel answered and said unto the women, Fear not ye: for I know that ye seek Jesus, which was crucified. He is not here: for he is risen, as he said. Come, see the place where the Lord lay. -- Matthew 28:5-6

And entering into the sepulchre, they saw a young man sitting on the right side, clothed in a long white garment; and they were affrighted. And he saith unto them, Be not affrighted: Ye seek Jesus of Nazareth, which was crucified: he is risen; he is not here: behold the place where they laid him. But go your way, tell his disciples and Peter that he goeth before you into Galilee: there shall ye see him, as he said unto you. -- Mark 16:5-7

Now upon the first day of the week, very early in the morning, they came unto the sepulchre, bringing the spices which they had prepared, and certain others with them. And they found the stone rolled away from the sepulchre. And they entered in, and found not the body of the Lord Jesus. And it came to pass, as they were much perplexed thereabout, behold, two men stood by them in shining garments: And as they were afraid, and bowed down their faces to the earth, they said unto them, Why seek ye the living among the dead? He is not here, but is risen: remember how he spake unto you when he was yet in Galilee, Saying, The Son of man must be delivered into the hands of sinful men, and be crucified, and the third day rise again. -- Luke 24:1-7

Sieg Heil!

Citing a European court ruling, U.S. immigration authorities are arguing in an appeal that a family that fled Germany and gained asylum in Tennessee claiming their government persecuted them for homeschooling should be returned to their home country.

Doesn't that just say it all? Not only are the feds seeking deportation, but they're looking to European law as a defense of their actions?

Hordes of Mexicans and Central and South Americans -- but especially Mexicans -- storm our southern border in the thousands every single day, sneaking into our territories and giving the finger to our property rights and just immigration laws; they snatch job opportunities from U.S. citizens in a time of economic foundering; crime rates skyrocket everywhere they settle en masse; they receive special privileges from big businesses for their criminality; they disproportionately seek and receive government assistance, when by all rights the government should be showing them the door; they are brazen participants in fraud.

For all of the above outrages, the feds sit back and yawn, shrugging their shoulders as the country goes down the toilet.

But let a family seek asylum in the U.S. for persecution, manifest as a violation of their God - given rights to educate their children as they see fit, and suddenly the federal government becomes hostile about their further presence on U.S. soil? If you don't see an ulterior anti - Christian or anti - homeschooling motivation in this case, I suggest getting your eyes checked.

Further, the agency [ICE, or Immigration and Customs Enforcement] claims, the U.S. "law has recognized the broad power of the state to compel school attendance and regulate curriculum and teacher certification."

Yes, and these deceitful authoritarians are well aware of the exemption of home schooled children from compulsory attendance of government - approved indoctrination centers.

ICE sought application of the Konrad case in the European Court of Human Rights that "the public education laws of Germany do not violate basic human rights." The ruling elaborated that parents had no right to direct the education of their own children because that was a responsibility of the state.

Interesting. A defense of persecution by pointing toward the judicial enshrinement of persecution.

"American judges should use American law alone in making decisions about cases in American courts," said Michael Smith, president of the HSLDA. "Polls show that Americans by an overwhelming margin reject the idea of using international law in American courts to decide American cases. The use of international law in American courts is a threat to American justice and should be opposed."

So ICE is arguing its case utilizing international law, a tack of which most Americans disapprove. Yet another example of how "representing the people's will" has become a contemporary fiction.

ICE argued that the U.S. government simply could ban all homeschooling – and that should disqualify the granting of asylum.

Translation: "The U.S. government might choose the path of blanket persecution of its own people in the future; therefore, the current persecution of Germans by Germany's government, and the persecution of German families seeking asylum in Tennessee by the U.S. government, is perfectly legitimate." This argument reeks of desperation. One supposes these evil, power - hungry elites have never encountered the concept of "circular reasoning."

Germany effectively has made homeschooling illegal because of laws dating back to the pre-World War II move as Hitler rose to power and tried to make raising and training children a responsibility of the government.

It seems that some totalitarians never put their jack - boots away.

This Is a Big F@#$%&^ Deal

First, Joe Biden dropped the F - word on national television, as a prologue to the Maoist Messiah signing socialism into law under the deliberate misnomer of "health care reform." Given the multitude of cameras and microphones present, it's clear that Biden's utterance illuminates not only his morality, but his intelligence -- or lack thereof.

Now, we have the privilege of watching him joke unrepentantly about his indiscretion, and mentioning Obama's description of his remark as the "best thing" about the enshrining of socialism.

So we have two lewd statists -- not statesmen -- who find the whole matter amusing. I see nothing of leadership or decorum in these proceedings.

What I do see are two smug, evil elitists who believe they are smarter than you, better than you, and more capable of determining what is best for you and your family than you are. And they're perfectly willing to defecate on your liberty in carrying out their vile agenda.

Neither of these two are fit to lick the boots of the lowliest member of our founding generation.

The Old Priest

In Washington , D.C. An old priest lay dying in the hospital. For years he had faithfully served the people of the nation's capital and was well known among the elected officials.

He motioned for his nurse to come near.

"Yes, Father?" said the nurse.

"I would really like to see President Obama and Speaker Pelosi before I die,"whispered the priest.

"I'll see what I can do, Father," replied the nurse.

The nurse sent the request to The President and Congressional leader and waited for a response.

Soon the word arrived; President Obama and Nancy Pelosi would be delighted to visit the priest.
As they went to the hospital, Obama commented to Pelosi, "I don't know why the old priest wants to see us, but it will certainly help our images and might even get me re-elected."

Pelosi agreed that it was a good thing.

When they arrived at the priest's room, the priest took Obama's hand in his right hand and Pelosi's hand in his left hand. There was silence and a look of serenity on the old priest's face.

Finally President Obama spoke: "Father, of all the people you could have chosen, why did you choose us to be with you as you near the end?"

The old priest slowly replied, "I have always tried to pattern my life after our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ."

"Amen," said Obama.

"Amen," said Pelosi.

The old priest continued, "Jesus died between two lying thieves; I would like to do the same."

"Love with a Gladiator's Stamina"

That was what the email promised me. We'll see. I'll look into it more, after I get back from the Colosseum.

Traffic Cameras

I cannot think of a better example of something being created or installed for the transparent purpose of revenue generation.

A family member told me a story about an individual whose car was photographed speeding through a stoplight, so -- as wet follows rain -- local government sent him a citation through the mail. Here's the rub: the car's owner not only was not in the driver's seat, he wasn't even in the car.

I consider the judicial system's response unethical. If I'm doing eighty in a skewel zone in someone else's car, and Sergeant Fuzz pulls me over, he doesn't summon the owner and demand that he appear with license and registration in tow; rather, I am the one who suffers the consequences. And rightly so.

One would think that those in authority have never considered the possibility that a friend might borrow a friend's car, or a son a father's, or a daughter a mother's, or a nephew an uncle's, or a Monica a Bill's.

The reality is that they don't care. Not when the jingle - jangle of coins and the crisp fluttering of dollars tickles their ears, and beckons them back to their First Love:

The acquisition of money.

New Yuck: Almost Eden

I kept hearing this annoying, nigh - utopian song blaring from loudspeakers, everywhere I went. Inside stores, on the radio, even at restaurants. The thought occured to me that it's an insidious Yankee plot to drive us poor Southron folks out of our minds. My morbid curiosity bested me, so I looked it up on the Internet. It's called "Empire State of Mind," by Jay - Z and Alicia Keys. Here are the lyrics to the chorus:

New York!
Congrete jungles where dreams are made of,
There's nothing you can't do,
Now you're in New York!
These streets will make you feel brand new,
The lights will inspire you.
Let's hear it for New York, New York, New York!

Are these idiots kidding? Setting aside the questionable grammar of the first line, it's a place "where dreams are made of?" Jay - Z might want to lay off the endo, because that's -- hands down -- the dumbest thing I've ever heard.

Besides the Statue of Liberty and the old Ellis Island, I can't imagine why I'd ever want to step foot in that bubbling, reeking cesspool of crime, teeming with illegal aliens and multicultism run amok. Where's the allure in visiting the human equivalent of a beehive, filled with mindless, leftist drones enraptured by their own self - importance? It's a congregated mass of morons who believe that every inch of America between themselves and Los Angeles and San Francisco is flyover country. Most of these people spit on your amber waves of grain.

I understand a love of New York City, if one's goal is cultivating and retaining celebrity status. Otherwise, I can't think of a better candidate for secession -- or, better yet, expulsion.

And for the love of all that is holy and sane, Take Chimpan - Z and Alicia Keys with you.

An Atheist in the Woods

An atheist was walking through the woods.

"What majestic trees! What powerful rivers! What beautiful animals!" he said to himself.

As he was walking alongside the river, he heard a rustling in the bushes behind him.

He turned to look. He saw a seven - foot grizzly bear charging toward him.

He ran as fast as he could up the path. He looked over his shoulder and saw the bear closing on him.

He looked over his shoulder again, and the bear was even closer.

He tripped and fell on the ground.

He rolled over to pick himself up but saw that the bear was right on top of him, reaching for him with its left paw and raising its right paw to strike him.

At that instant, the atheist cried out: "Oh, my God!"

Time stopped.

The bear froze.

The forest was silent.

As a bright light shone upon the man, a voice came out of the sky:

"YOU DENY MY EXISTENCE FOR ALL THOSE YEARS, TEACH OTHERS THAT I DON'T EXIST, AND EVEN CREDIT THE CREATION TO A COSMIC ACCIDENT. DO YOU EXPECT ME TO HELP YOU OUT OF THIS PREDICAMENT? AM I TO COUNT YOU AS A NEW BELIEVER?"

The atheist looked into the light. "It would be hypocritical of me to suddenly ask you to treat me as a Christian, now, but perhaps you could make the bear a Christian?"

"VERY WELL," said the voice.

The light went out. The sounds of the forest resumed. The bear dropped its right paw, brought both paws together, bowed its head, and spoke:

"Father, bless this food, which I am about to receive from thy bounty through Christ our Lord, Amen."

Nothing Says "Hate" Like a Gift Bible

An eighth-grade teacher has accused her students of committing a "hate crime" and being "cruel" because they left a Bible on her desk and a Christmas card with the word "Christ" underlined.

Melissa Hussain, an Apex, N.C., science teacher at West Lake Middle School, is suspended with pay and may lose her job after she purportedly clashed with students on the subject of religion and sent students to the school office when they asked about the role of God in creation during a lesson about evolution.

Hussain wrote on her then-public Facebook page that it was a "hate crime" when her students left a Bible on her desk, according to the Charlotte News & Observer. She complained about students singing "Jesus Loves Me" and wearing Jesus T shirts.

Hussain said she "was able to shame her kids" over the incidents.

"I can't believe the cruelty and ignorance of people sometimes," Hussain wrote on the social networking site.

She said she wouldn't let the Bible incident "go unpunished."

I don't know if this is an example of a Muslim gaming the system that tolerates her intolerance, or one of extreme leftism in action; either way, she's of a totalitarian mentality. She also has a dearth of common sense: how is giving someone a Bible a hate - crime? How is leaving someone a Christmas card with the word "Christ" underlined a demonstration of hate? How is sending students to the principal's office for asking about God's role in the creation process not an exercise in hate or bigotry? It's patently not illustrative of love or broad - mindedness.

As for songs like "Jesus Loves Me," and "Jesus" T - shirts, well, I'm astounded by the fortitude she's displayed in lasting this long under such oppression. I'm sure the inmates at Bergen - Belsen would've sympathized. Now she knows how Solzhenitsyn felt.

I wonder if efforts at placing a Koran on her desk, professions of the shahada, or T - shirts proclaiming "There's nothing wrong with infidels that a scimitar can't fix" would have made her swoon in righteous outrage?

The bottom line is that those on the Left -- and their Muslim fellow travellers -- harbor the shared goal of crushing religious liberty, freedom of expression, and all dissent. The sooner Americans wake up to this reality, the sooner they can address it and take action, before it's too late.

Mental Effluvia

Tip for young women: When it's thirty - five degrees outside, a sweatshirt and shorts probably isn't the best shopping ensemble at your local supercenter. And I'm not talking regular short pants, here; I mean hot pink ones that ensure a glimpse of the promised land if Buffy ever takes a notion to bend over.

To Chris Matthews: When you're feeling down in the dumps from all that manure - slinging you do for the Left, just remember that tingly feeling you get every time Obama winks at you. It might help you forget for a while that he's a socialist. Watch out for his wife, though; I'm sure she's less than ecstatic that her hubby gets you more aroused than Algore at Copenhagen. Elementary Anthem

His eye is on the sparrow
And peering right at you.
He bugs your phones and bedrooms
And watches all you do.

He never will forsake you
No matter where you go.
He notes your every action.
Just call him your Big Bro.

Fall to your knees and prostrate.
Cast on him all your cares.
Our Serengeti Savior
Hears our meanest prayers.

A D.C. Airline Ticket Agent Talks

I received this in an email:

A DC airport ticket agent offers some examples of why our country is in trouble!

1. I had a New Hampshire Congresswoman (Carol Shea-Porter) ask for an aisle seat so that her hair wouldn't get messed up by being near the window. (On an airplane!)

2. I got a call from a Kansas Congressman's (Moore) staffer (Howard Bauleke), who wanted to go to Cape Town. I started to explain the length of the flight and the passport information, and then he interrupted me with, ''I'm not trying to make you look stupid, but Cape Town is in Massachusetts .''

Without trying to make him look stupid, I calmly explained, ''Cape Cod is in Massachusetts, Cape Town is in Africa ''

His response -- click.

3. A senior Vermont Congressman (Bernie Sanders) called, furious about a Florida package we did. I asked what was wrong with the vacation in Orlando. He said he was expecting an ocean-view room. I tried to explain that's not possible, since Orlando is in the middle of the state.

He replied, “Don't lie to me, I looked on the map and Florida is a very thin state!''

4. I got a call from a lawmaker's wife (Landra Reid) who asked, ''Is it possible to see England from Canada?''

I said, ''No.''

She said, ''But they look so close on the map.''

5. An aide for a cabinet member (Janet Napolitano) once called and asked if he could rent a car in Dallas. I pulled up the reservation and noticed he had only a 1-hour layover in Dallas. When I asked him why he wanted to rent a car, he said, ''I heard Dallas was a big airport, and we will need a car to drive between gates to save time.''

6. An Illinois Congresswoman (Jan Schakowsky) called last week. She needed to know how it was possible that her flight from Detroit left at 8:30 a.m., and got to Chicago at 8:33 a.m.

I explained that Michigan was an hour ahead of Illinois, but she couldn't understand the concept of time zones. Finally, I told her the plane went fast, and she bought that.

7. A New York lawmaker, (Jerrold Nadler) called and asked, ''Do airlines put your physical description on your bag so they know whose luggage belongs to whom?''

I said, 'No, why do you ask?'

He replied, ''Well, when I checked in with the airline, they put a tag on my luggage that said FAT, and I'm overweight. I think that's very rude!''

After putting him on hold for a minute, while I looked into it. (I was dying laughing). I came back and explained the city code for Fresno, CA is FAT (Fresno Air Terminal), and the airline was just putting a destination tag on his luggage.

8. A Senator John Kerry aide (Lindsay Ross) called to inquire about a trip package to Hawaii. After going over all the cost info, she asked, ''Would it be cheaper to fly to California and then take the train to Hawaii?''

9. I just got off the phone with a freshman Congressman, Bobby Bright (D) from Alabama who asked, ''How do I know which plane to get on?''

I asked him what exactly he meant, to which he replied, ''I was told my flight number is 823, but none of these planes have numbers on them.''

10. Senator Dianne Feinstein (D) called and said, ''I need to fly to Pepsi-Cola, Florida. Do I have to get on one of those little computer planes?''

I asked if she meant fly to Pensacola, FL on a commuter plane.

She said, ''Yeah, whatever, smarty!''

11. Mary Landrieu (D) La. Senator called and had a question about the documents she needed in order to fly to China. After a lengthy discussion about passports, I reminded her that she needed a visa. “Oh, no I don't. I've been to China many times and never had to have one of those.''

I double checked and sure enough, her stay required a visa. When I told her this she said, ''Look, I've been to China four times and every time they have accepted my American Express!''

12. A New Jersey Congressman (John Adler) called to make reservations, ''I want to go from Chicago to Rhino, New York.''

I was at a loss for words. Finally, I said, ''Are you sure that's the name of the town?''

"Yes, what flights do you have?'' replied the man.

After some searching, I came back with, ''I'm sorry, sir, I've looked up every airport code in the country and can't find a Rhino anywhere."

''The man retorted, ''Oh, don't be silly! Everyone knows where it is. Check your map!''

So I scoured a map of the state of New York and finally offered, ''You don't mean Buffalo, do you?''

The reply? ''Whatever! I knew it was a big animal.''

Random Observations

I'm all for cutting government spending of taxpayer dollars, but Ocondom's proposed elimination of funding abstinence - only education is a decision originating in ideology, not frugality. We know this because abortion activists like Otrojan advicate the opposite of self control; after all, a woman cannot exercise her right to terminate her offspring without first engaging in the horizontal mambo. More murdered babies equals more victories for Obortion and his evil minions. Since keeping it zipped tends toward decreasing venereal diseases, unwanted pregnancies, and children sacrificed to the god of Self, leftist ideologues like Orubber find the policy distasteful.

I'm sure there's a perfectly plausible explanation for why Okenya's legal team has spent somewhere in the neighborhood of 1.7 million dollars keeping his long - form birth certificate locked away from the prying eyes of U.S. citizens. I rest assured in the knowledge that we'll discover the answer sometime after the final trump sounds.

***

I've searched my copy of the U.S. Constitution in vain for that Article or Section or Clause that bestows Ohaiti with the privilege of sending money confiscated from Americans under the threat of violence to tenth - world countries that fall victim to natural disasters. Stolen money used for charitable purposes still is just that. Stolen. And is it an act of charity, indeed, when the money sent belongs to someone other than the sender, and was taken without that person's consent? Not where I come from.

State of Disunion

I thought I'd address some of Omessiah's remarks from his Wednesday speech:

One year ago, I took office amid two wars, an economy rocked by a severe recession, a financial system on the verge of collapse and a government deeply in debt. Experts from across the political spectrum warned that if we did not act, we might face a second depression. So we acted — immediately and aggressively. And one year later, the worst of the storm has passed.

But the devastation remains. One in 10 Americans still cannot find work. Many businesses have shuttered. Home values have declined. Small towns and rural communities have been hit especially hard. And for those who'd already known poverty, life has become that much harder.

This recession has also compounded the burdens that America's families have been dealing with for decades — the burden of working harder and longer for less, of being unable to save enough to retire or help kids with college.

"Acting" doesn't necessarily translate to "acting correctly." What has Obama done to bring us out of the recession, pull us back from the brink of financial collapse, and diminish our debt burden? How does printing wads of cash and throwing them in great heaping handfuls at problems create solutions? How does bailing out businesses that deserve to fail with taxpayer funds ensure job creation or alleviation of poverty? If anyone can offer examples of individuals spending their way out of financial ruin, I'd love to hear them.

For these Americans and so many others, change has not come fast enough. Some are frustrated; some are angry. They don't understand why it seems like bad behavior on Wall Street is rewarded, but hard work on Main Street isn't; or why Washington has been unable or unwilling to solve any of our problems. They're tired of the partisanship and the shouting and the pettiness. They know we can't afford it. Not now.

Astounding. Change "has not come fast enough?" Is he kidding? This isn't about the speed of change; it's about making the right changes. What difference does it make if we bring about change quickly, if it's change for the worse? Increased federal power at the expense of states and individuals isn't the kind of change we need; rather, it is the opposite. It takes unplumbable depths of hubris to set oneself up as the greatest champion of corporate welfare in U.S. history, while simultaneously decrying bad behavior on Wall Street. Government initiates a crisis; government nourishes it and helps it along, making sure it reaches a boiling point; government steps in as our savior from the crisis it helped create. Only an Obamoid or a career politician would buy this blind horse. And "tired of partisanship?" Who does he think he's fooling? Obama's entire schtick since entering office has been the character assassination of anyone who doesn't embrace his fly - buzzing heap and call it roses. Now he's going to talk to us about the woes of partisanship?

I simply can't make it any further through his tripe, folks, so I'll stop, here. I'm sorry. It's like wading through a sewer in flipflops. The rest is self - congratulatory fantasy.

Many Thanks

My wife's father passed away on Sunday, January 17. I don't believe he suffered, because he was neither awake nor aware. He endured many physical disabilities over the years, culminating in a heart attack from which he did not recover. Through all his trials, he kept a cheerful disposition and always cracked jokes and made people laugh. He never felt sorry for himself or brought others down with his woes.

I'm happy to report that he accepted Jesus as his Lord and Savior in 2008; so I understand that not only is he in Heaven, but he's better off than those of us on Earth, as he is in the presence of our Lord.

I and my wife want to thank each of you who remembered him in your prayers. None of us will ever know how much they contributed to the alleviation of his condition. We appreciate your efforts, and do not believe that they were in vain. We've spent the past few days visiting with family, and attending the funeral out of town. Now that matters have returned to a semblance of normalcy, I'll try to get back to regular posting; I've had interest in commenting on some current events, but they've taken a back burner, until now.

God bless and keep all of you.

Thank you very much, everyone. We appreciate you.

The Logic of an Old Queen

What better way to kick off the new year, than with a story about the absolute insanity of political correctness and counter - culture mores. Lunacy is the order of the day, with these people:

A man honored by President Obama as a "civil rights pioneer" has told a Christian ministry leader the God of the Bible is a "sinful, homophobic bigot" who needs to repent and "seek forgiveness for the pain and suffering which his sinful homophobia has needlessly inflicted upon gay people for the past 4,000 years."

Haha! Sinful? By what definition, and under the tenets of what moral worldview? The one this guy made up out of whole cloth? God determines the definition of sin, not Adam and Steve. Sorry. Describing God as "sinful" implies that God is not the definer of sin, or that He is failing in living up to His own principles. I'd like to see Obama's boyfriend demonstrate God's lapses for the rest of us. And don't even get me started about the mindless absurdity that the Creator of the universe suffers from an irrational fear of homosexuals. That's rich.

The comments come from Frank Kameny, a longtime activist for homosexual "rights," who once famously said bestiality is all right "as long as the animal doesn't mind (and the animal rarely does)."

I'll take his word for it.

"Bigotry is sinful, whether it be racism, anti-Semitism, or homophobia," Kameny wrote.

And scripture consistently describes homosexual behavior as sin; prejudice against the wanton commission of sin cannot be described as sin, itself. If I have a choice between the holy Word of God, and the observations of a practicing homosexual on the merits of homosexuality, I'm sticking with God's Word. This amounts to bellyaching that God doesn't endorse one's particular sin preferences.

This is a perfect example of how political correctness and wallowing in one's sin destroys the intellect. It transforms otherwise intelligent people into imbeciles.

This also illustrates the notion attributed to Chesterton that When a Man stops believing in God he doesn't then believe in nothing -- he believes in anything. Here we have an individual who rejects and condemns the God of the Bible, who has reached the ludicrous conclusion that God should hang His head in shame and repent of his evil ways. I can't imagine the man doing a better job of living out the above quotation -- even if he'd set his sights on that goal and consciously dedicated his life to its pursuit.

2010

Happy new year, everyone! Be safe, and may God bless each of you richly.
